Announcement 

 

AWANA has started off the second half of the year with a big bang!  More kids have come to AWANA in January than leaders!  The kids are having fun with their store time, games and memorizing scripture.  February promises to be just as good since we will make valentines for the residents of Hilltop Haven.  Get those valentine makin' ideas together kids!

 

Upcoming Theme Nights:
Feb. 6: Make Valentines Night
Feb. 14: Valentine Night (6th graders will go to Hilltop Haven to deliver the Valentines)
Feb. 20: no theme
Feb. 27: no theme

Current Challenge:
Penny Race challenge ends on Wednesday, February 6th.  Don't forget to bring your Pennies!

Next Challenge: February 20 to March 26 will be a Sponsor Challenge, watch for details!

GRAND PRIX IS COMING!  This year you will earn, not purchase, your car.  Ms. Tina will make the all important announcement February 20th during T&T Council Time!  Get ready to RACE!

Dear Parents:

 

AWANA is back again for a new year! First club night was September 12th with a Water theme...What a fun, wet night!

We are fortunate to have many leaders and helpers return for another year, but we have also lost some veterans.  We are in need of helpers and listeners at this time.  If you feel like you could help, whether one?two?or more nights a month, please notify me.  Allow me to leave you with this thought...How different our world would be if we could all seek God with the simplicity of a child!

Pre-registration is underway!  Please register your children for AWANA by filling out a form in the foyer or online at www.fbcgunter.org.

Club Schedule:

September 19: Adopt A Club Night (we will talk about our adopted club in Russia)
September 26: Parent Night (parents are invited to come spend the evening with us)
