Men's Ministry
Throughout God's word, God often used trouble to shape, grow, and discipline his people. Today, most of us would readily admit we are shaped by our experiences. God has provided us that characteristic so he can shape us. Each life experience, enjoyable or not, can remind us of our dependence on God. He is the source of every good thing, as well as the One who strengthens, guides, and helps us in times of trouble. It is through these times of trouble that God shapes a man to make him more useful to Himself. God is calling for men with responsive hearts and obedient wills. Talent and ability are not prerequisites to being used by God. Our accomplishments, awards, and recognition will not ensure kingdom usefulness; only a "broken and contrite heart" will (Ps. 51:17).
