No matter the age, FBCGunter has a safe and welcoming place for your child. The friendly environment offers plenty of opportunities for your child to play, interact with other children, and learn about Jesus and the Bible from our team of volunteers.
During the Sunday school hour, our teachers provide the children with a Bible story and age appropriate activities.
During the worship hour, children ages birth through pre-K are invited to remain in the preschool area while parents participate in the worship service. During the school year, children kindergarten through 4th grade are invited to join a leader in the large foyer after worship announcements to attend Children's Church where they enjoy activities and have an age appropriate message.

Day and Time: Sundays at 6:00 PM
Description: Music Time Choir is designed for ages 3 through kindergarten. The children explore rhythm using various instruments, learn beginning music symbols, and discover their singing voices. The age-appropriate lessons, activities and songs are a perfect fit for this lively bunch!

Description: Children's Choir is designed for ages 1st through 6th grade. We teach music to the children in many different ways. They are learning rhythm through playing games and many different activities. No prior music knowledge is necessary to be a part. Come join the fun!!!

Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed (AWANA)
Day and Time: Wednesdays at 6:00 PM
Description: Awana Club Night runs Wednesdays 6:00 to 7:40 pm. Our club year begins the first Wednesday in September following Labor Day. We follow the Gunter ISD school calendar. If the children are not in school on Wednesday, we do not meet that week. We also have the Awana Store about every 6 weeks where the clubbers purchase cool prizes with the points they have earned.
Puggles: Children 2 year old learn biblical precepts at church and parents are equipped to teach them at home.
Cubbies: Children 3-4 years old have Bible stories, play games, memorize scripture, and earn awards.
Sparks: Children in Kindergarten through 2nd grade learn scriptures at their own pace and to be part of a team.
Truth & Training: The program for boys and girls 3rd through 6th grade focuses on scripture memory, community service, and real-life application of the Bible verses they are memorizing.
