Jack Newton joined the staff as Senior Pastor in July 2009.  Pastor Jack has a BA in Communications from the University of Texas at Arlington & a Masters of Divinity Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  During his 20 years in the ministry, he has served as Youth & Education Pastor of Woodland West Baptist Church in Arlington & as Senior Pastor of Gunpowder Baptist Church in Freeland, MD.  He also served 4 years in the United States Marine Corps.  He enjoys reading, golf, & spending time with his family.  He & his wife Dana have been married since 1986. They have 3 children: Jonathan, serving in the United States Marine Corps; Samuel, a student at DBU & recently married to Lindsey Kea; & Leah, a freshman in college.

Ben Klar joined the staff as Youth Pastor in August 2011. Pastor Ben received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Bilbical and Theological Studies in 2011 from John Brown University. He began ministering to youth on a volunteer basis while in high school at Christ Community Church in Beatrice, Nebraska. Prior to coming to FBCGunter he served as a volunteer in the youth ministry at Harvard Avenue Baptist Church in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Ben and his wife, Kayla, have been married since 2007 and have been serving the Lord in ministry together since high school. In his free time, Ben enjoys reading, writing, running, and cheering on the Nebraska Cornhuskers (Go Big Red!).

Facilities Manager Doug Garner joined the staff in June of 2004. Doug retired from Texas Instruments where he worked for 35 years. The last 25 years he was involved in facilities management. Doug enjoyed the facilities position at TI because it was a service responsibility. He enjoys serving and continues to serve here at FBCGunter.  Doug and his wife Tammie have been married for four years. They have five children and six grandchildren.

Michelle Reynolds joined the staff as Office Manager in November 2010.  Michelle has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from the University of Texas at Arlington. She worked for 9 years at Perot Systems as an editor and in the Marketing Department.  She decided to take a break from work when her daughter was born in January 2009, and after two years as a stay-at-home mommy, Michelle was led to FBCGunter to work.  Michelle and her husband, Kevin, have been married since 2005 and have been members of FBCGunter since 2010.  They have one child, Christianna, who is a blessing and a testament of God's love.  Michelle enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, scrapbooking, and cooking.
